I’m an independent consultant with over 10 years’ experience in strategic branding and communications, and a former board director of the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC).
I currently consult for a number of leading brand/design agencies, working alongside client partners and creatives to ensure that their solutions demonstrate deep businesses understanding, as well as creative flair. Recent clients include KPMG, Sainsbury’s, Savills and Tetra Pak.
In 2008, I graduated from the full-time MBA programme at Ashridge Business School - recognised world experts in the field of Corporate Responsibility. That experience, combined with insights from projects as an associate at SAS (part of Publicis Groupe), led me to develop strong opinions about CR and its potential as a source of brand and competitive advantage.
Many companies may claim a leadership position but, in my view, very few do so with any great credibility.
With this blog, my hope is to bring some intellectual rigour, strategic thinking and creative insight to discussions about the evolution of CR strategy and practice, and (in so doing) to help separate the rhetoric from the reality, the “conviction CR” from the merely “cosmetic”.
The views expressed in this blog are my own and not those of any of my clients or their affiliates.
